Figures of Speech

Why would we want to use Figure of Speech? Simple! it beautifies our language and makes catchy yet effective the message delivery to the listener.

We will going to discuss on the most popular FOS (Figure of Speech) which are "Similes" & "Metaphor"

 Simile      
The comparison is done directly
                                Eg: He is as brave as a lion

 Metaphor
The comparison is done indirectly and in implied form. The word that is used to indicate something different from its literal meaning.
                                   Eg: He is an ass (stupid)
